That is a hard one..I just got a new fridge, and a decently new dishwasher…probably the Free Standing Gas Range.

It would be a hard choice between refrigerator and stove.
Due to my husband’s job loss, we had to sell our wonderful 3-year-old home and move to another 80 or 90 year-old rowhome in the city.
Both our stove and refrigerator are ancient! In fact, my stove (though I don’t know what year it is) is a 70′s style color of yellow and two of the burners only light if you turn on the opposite burner and light a match!
But my husband is paranoid that our refrigerator (also old) will die at any moment, and we will have to run out and buy one on credit (which we would not be comfortable with–because we don’t have much savings at the moment, due to 2 job losses in the past three years
So quite frankly, either appliance would be super SUPER exciting!

It would have to be the gas stove. My husband and i have been together for 7 years and the oven has NEVER worked. Its so old that they dont even make the part neded any more. I have gone through a few roasters and have to use a toaster oven and grill to cook!
It would be a tough one…either the fridge or the range.
Its between the fridge and the range. Our range is fine, but its a built in, and I would prefer a free standing one. But our fridge has a poor seal, and was a good 15 years old when we got it used several years ago. Looks like the fridge wins it.
I would pick the freestanding electric range. Our oven went out about a month ago…so we have a microwave and a stove top. We are getting by, but it sure would be nice to be able to bake again. We won’t even have a turkey for Thanksgiving this year…
