Sliced potatoes, fried in oil, then when they where almost done we added sliced polish sausage ( can be added straight out of freezer) The when the sausage was heated we turned it off covered it with sliced singles of cheese covered and let the cheese melt! Easy meal and to this day if you ask my brother his fav meal this is it!!! For me and the kids I usually have some kind of veggie!! We grew up on a very similar meal. When we were kids, my mother had to have a hospital stay, so my father cooked us a memorable dinner one night: He took hot dogs, sliced them down the middle, put peanut butter inside them, wrapped them in a slice of cheese, and microwaved them. I don't remember having hot dogs, but I do remember roast, green beans, and potatoes all cooked up in some eggs. Dinner with Dad was always interesting!
