No matter how crazy our lives get or how busy we are, I make sure there's those "moments" that they look forward to. My 11 year old LOVES it when we sit next to each other on the sofa with a blanket covering us and a cup of tea (cocoa for her) and we just read a chapter or two of our books. No t.v., no phones, no interruptions. My 15 year old likes to sneak into the kitchen and help me (tease me is more like it!) as I bake or cook.
