“Crucify him!” they all cried. He said, “Why, what crime has he committed?” But they only shouted the louder, “Crucify him!”
Matthew Ch. 27: 22, 23
Good thing that happened then, and not now. Good thing we all know better now. That would never happen here. Not now. Not me.
Or would it? Does it?

When I judge the wrong in others, avoiding my own misgivings?
Crucify Him!
When I go about my day my way, in my time, with my priorities, failing to give it all to Him and seek His will?
Crucify Him!
When I drudge up old scars and pout for lack of empathy, but don’t ask forgiveness of others?
Crucify Him!
When I gossip and talk of others, all in the name of light-hearted conversation?
Crucify Him!
When I waste a most precious gift ~ time ~ one that is only given once?
Crucify Him!
When I am short and impatient with my children, but expect their respect in return?
Crucify Him!
When my God-given priorities as a wife and mother get swept under the rug of other obligations?
Crucify Him!
This tiny corner of the blogosphere is going to get quiet for a few days as I attempt to still my own life for the Easter Triduum. Have a prayerful Holy Week and a glorious Easter, friends!

Well said. Thank you. Happy Easter to you and yours.
May your Resurrection Sunday be blessed.
I am convicted each year as we read through the passion on Palm Sunday. It is just as if I said the words. I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter.

Thank you for this reminder. I know I can take some of these lightly (like wasting time), but this helps to put them into perspective.
Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
What a great reminder! I am loving spending some time in Blog Land this year during the holiday season as I have been convicted, filled-up and just overall blessed by others personal thoughts about Christ’s sacrifice. God Bless and hope you have a fabulous Easter!
