It’s as if Santa stopped by with a custom holiday delivery for each of my kiddos!
Children are natural creators. Creativity flows through them as they dance and sing and play and draw. My daughter told me just the other day, “Mom, you know what I like best? Singing and making things.” You can imagine my excitement, then, when MyBlogSpark contacted me about reviewing three of the hottest holiday gifts from Crayola.
No way am I giving my kids brand new toys so close to Christmas, but my hubby and I sure had fun taking them for a test drive!

Crayola Beginnings Color Me a Song is perfect for our 2-year-old. It lets little ones draw to the beat of their own drum, trumpet, piano or guitar. Place a piece of paper on the tray, and start drawing. The pressure from the crayon activates a melody in the board. Draw faster and the tempo picks up. Draw slower, and it slows down. What a fun cause/effect activity for the littles!

The Crayola Glow Station is my hubby’s favorite. When we pulled it out and surveyed the materials, we came to one quick conclusion: no mess! Children draw with light on a large-size glow-in-the-dark canvas. The stencils and textured backgrounds even made me feel like a professional! Drawings magically disappear over time, or can be “erased” by turning on the lights, so hubby and I can write endless notes of love kids can create again and again for limitless fun. How cool is that?!

The Crayola Color Explosion Glow Dome is the perfect reward for a coloring job well done. It takes kids’ artwork and spins it in a dome of light. I can totally see our family hanging out in a dark room, enjoying the show! It’s the next best thing to fireworks.
There are design sheets included, but more can be downloaded at Crayola.
Want to win your own Crayola Glow Dome? Tell me your favorite Crayola product in the comments.
And if you’re feeling really lucky, you might want to hop over to the Give the Gift of Creativity Sweepstakes.
You can enter to win a 7-night Caribbean cruise for a family of 4 on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. Entering is simple! All you have to do is visit http://www.crayola.com/gifts/vacation and create a Crayola wish list for your child. You can choose from a list of fun wishes like Star Skateboarding, Martian Sleepovers, and Boogie Woogie. Crayola will then recommend an item from their Holiday Gift Guide that corresponds to the wish. You can enter once a day, and an extra entry is also available for those who share the wish list on Facebook.
Just so you know ~ Crayola provided me with the free Beginnings Color Me A Song, Color Explosion Glow Dome, and Glow Station, in addition to the information, and Color Explosion Glow Dome to give away through MyBlogSparkTM.

I think my favorite is the crayola glow station….
Isn’t it funny how far crayons have come? I remember being a kid I was sike when the little organizer was available for the big box of crayons!
My favorite Crayola product EVER was the backpack I had in elementary school. It looked just like a box of crayons and hauled MANY a library book. Currently, we’re digging the standard issue crayons. Thanks for the chance, Amy!
My favorite Crayola product was the rally big 96+ crayon box. Lots of different color variations I could do almost anything with it! Loved it.
Our favorite is the little table and chair set I managed to snag for my daughter on clearance for $20! Thanks for the giveaway!
We love the giant sidewalk chalk and have spent many afternoons out on the driveway having fun creating our masterpieces.
Amy – I am so glad you reviewed the products, I was thinking abt the Color me a song for my 2yr old, but when I saw it in the store it was hard to tell what he would think abt it. But I think its a must now on our Christmas list…Along with the others, such great gift ideas!!
As for a favorite Crayola product, we’ve had so many over the years, but the best has been the window cling paint, talk abt fun! Kids loved seeing their designs “come” to life and cling in the windows!!
Definately the sidewalk chalk. And a second close are the Crayola band aids that my kids plaster all over themselves.
I love the Color WOnder stuff. I have four kids and it’s SO NICE to know that they can have markers without it being all over EVERYTHING.
I loved and still love the 64 crayons with the sharpener built in. The have the best colors and names for them and they color like no other.
I love the good ol fashioned markers. They wash off anything and they don’t dry up even when the caps are left off. LOVE them
My favorite was the BIG box of crayons with the sharpener on the side. Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite is the really big box of crayons — I’m still tempted to buy these for myself!
That Crayola Glow Station looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the chance to win
Good old fashioned crayola crayons will always be the best. Specifically, the magenta one has always held a soft spot.
wow! what a great giveaway! I have been wanting the color me a song for my 2 year old. She dances everytime the commercial comes on! I think my fave has to be the washable markers. The grandparents love the artwork we mail, and I love that they wash right off her hands!
As a child I loved the giant box of crayons. I never had that really big box, but the happiness of new, perfect crayons and the idea of having a huge box full? Happy sigh. As an adult, I love the washable crayons with flat sides (they’re like triangles). They’re easy for my son to hold, and they don’t roll off the high chair.
My favorite Crayola product is Color Wonder. My daughter can color the pictures with markers and not leave a mess to clean up.
My daughter (and I) would go nuts over a huge box of crayons. The 96 or 120 count with a sharpener would be awesome. We love to color in coloring books and my daughter likes to create her own drawings on white paper.
I am fascinated by the Glow Station. That would be so much fun!
I guess I’m old school because I love that brand new box of 64 ~ so many choices!!
My favorite Crayola product is the Color Wonder Magic Light Brush with the Color Wonder paper. We got this for our girls for Christmas, and they spent the next two weeks straight painting away. They loved how the brush would change colors as they chose their colors. They cried when we ran out of paper for them to paint on! We liked it because not only did it keep them entertained, it was easy to clean up and didn’t stain! Thank you for the chance to win
My favorite was the huge box of crayons with the sharpener – so many choices! These all look like fun!
I have been trying really hard to refrain from buying my little brothers toys for Christmas this year but the glow station and the glow dome are SO TEMPTING!
I think my favorite Crayola product is those skinny markers they sell. So much fun to use instead of regular pens for cards and labeling things!
I have always loved the 96 count box of crayons with the sharpener on the back. I used to carry around my crayons and a coloring book in my back pack when I was in high school. They were a great stress release! Coloring a picture always puts a smile on my face!
I am really liking the Crayola Color Me a song.. we are a musical group.. or attempt to be. I may have to check that out!
My favorite is a little plain but it’s the twistable crayons! I would Love to win this gift for my kids…

It is so hard to pick one favorite crayola product! My girls have really gotten into “creative” projects lately which means we are going through a lot of basic crayons & markers but our new favorite are the Crayola Paint Brush Pens!

we saw a commercial for the glow station but can’t seem to find it. That’s what I’d pick probably if I happened to win:) The glow dome looks pretty neat too!
It’s hard to pick my favorite. I like both Color Me a Song and Crayola Glow Station. My favorite goes to the crayola glow station because I believe both my 1-yr-old and 8-yr-old can enjoy using it.
I’m the homework helper at the local library and Crayolas are a necessity for homework, projects and just coloring when your work is done. That’s why I choose the regular Crayola as my favorite.

Count me in to win the dome!!
Crayola Beginnings Color Me a Song looks like a great product!
I like the markers as we use them a lot. Susan
My current favorite crayola item:
The humble, worn box of 24 bright Crayola crayons which rest on my counter – used numerous times a day, but most appreciated in the morning post-breakfast while I’m cleaning up the kitchen, mid-day when I’m helping my 4-year-old learn to spell, and in the evening as I’m finished up dinner prep and my three little guys are hungry!
I love the easel its great for two kids play. I would love to try one of those new products!
We have the Crayola Glow Station (a gift from grandma last year) and my boys (ages 5 and 3) ADORE it! I would have to say that it is my favorite because it can entertain my boys for hours. A really close second would be the Color Wonder line.
Believe it or not, I had a Crayola sleeping bag when I was a kid. Now, I find it hard to resist the 64-packs of crayons with the built-in sharpener. Love it!
My favorite Crayola products are the crayons. They really do color better than others on the market.
The Glow Station is on my list to buy.
Sounds like my kids would love the Color Dome!
