Looks like fun! We have some electronic toys, not my preference, but my one-year-old loves them : ) We also enjoy the classic toys. My son greeted me this morning with pink marker all over his forehead ; )

i was never able to get into using coupons. and now that i am more aware of waste, consumerism, healthy food, etc. my shopping habits have completely changed. i prefer now to stock up once a month on staples at Costco (about 30 mins away), shop the farmer's market in the summer, use the veggies from our CSA, and buy meat, eggs and milk from our farmer friends. we also use natural and homemade cleaning and hygiene products as much as possible.

like you there are certain times of year (baseball and soccer season) when i buy more convenience food, but i usually can get those at Costco. and even if i spend a few dollars more than i would with coupons my time is worth it. i absolutely hate running from store to store, since i usually spend more money the more i shop.

Hi, sorry I just realized I forgot to include how many croquettes it makes. It makes 60, using the size scoop I use which is approx 1/4 cup.
Yes, it is enough to feed an army but I find that when I go to all the work of making them I want enough in the freezer to make it worth the mess. My family just loves these and they are really the easiest thing to pull out of the freezer.

Your kids are already out of school? Here it's the end of June. 3 months that's a lot of time off. ;) Some good suggestions! Thanks.

Dinner is the biggest meal of the day...so either lunch or supper. My mom always called lunch "dinner" on Sundays.

We don't do the big lunch on Sundays, but we occasionally have a holiday dinner at midday.

We grew up with breakfast, dinner, and supper also! Drives my husband nuts! (Go figure because we both grew up in Kansas)

Bierocks are a STAPLE in our house! Although, I tried making them with sauerkraut instead of cooking down the cabbage and have been making them that way ever since.

Next week is my week to bake up a bunch of heat&eat meals (bierocks, pizza pockets, burritos, etc) so that we can have a homemade dinner at the ballpark. 4 of our 5 kids are in baseball/t-ball/softball this summer and it is going to be crazy!
