Celebrating Mom Giveaway ~ Custom Word Necklace from Creatively Obsessed {2 Winners}

I don’t wear a lot of jewelry. Especially necklaces, what with the babies chewing on them, or ripping them from my neck and whatnot. Though my selection is minimal, I do prefer unique, versatile pieces.

co1

Unique and versatile? Creatively Obsessed delivers, offering handmade items all designed from upcycled materials!

co2

They take Vintage books, buttons, crystals, and more and re-purpose them to make one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories.

co3

I chose the word “Blessed” for my custom Vintage Dictionary Word Necklace, because that pretty much sums it up around here. Blessed with the chaos and mess of a big, happy family living in an active community. It’s crazykins most of the time, but I wouldn’t change it for anything!

  1. Cheryl Ives says:

What beautiful and original jewelry! I love it!

  2. These jewelry items are lovely! My word choice would be LOVE.

  3. I’d choose “believe or joy” – it’s a toss up. I didn’t have parents who believed in me while I was growing up (and still don’t) and it has taken YEARS to finally believe in myself. I am raising my children with a much different mindset – and I hope they grow up believing in not only them selves, but in the good of others. I also like the word “joy” as I am a firm believer that life is all about perspective and that there is joy in everything – yes, everything. There may be other feelings (sadness, pain, etc.) and we may have to look a little deeper for it, but there is joy to be had in everything.

  4. I’m thinking “mother,” “miracle,” or “love.”

  5. I would choose one for my daughter ,she is unique.

  6. I love that word–”blessed” in the middle of the chaos!

  7. Rebecca says:

I would choose Faith or Believe or even Patience as that is what I need on a daily basis as I deal with children all day, every day between my job and my own children.

  8. Cori May says:

Oh those are so cute! I would have a hard time choosing a word. LOVE is the obvious choice though!

  9. “Thankful” came to mind… but the definition in our dictionary is super short… & “thankless” would probably creep in! Will have to put some thought into it if I win! ;)

  10. Love these! Is probably choose THRIVE.

  11. I would probably choose grace..I need a lot of grace :)

  12. I LOVE the vintage Button idea….neat neat neat!

  13. So many good words to chose from, I really don’t know. About the time I think ___ would be a good word I think of two more. Noble, content, mama, virtue, blessed, warrior (I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith…), joy, wonder, and the list goes on! Thank you for a great give away.

  14. Heather says:

These are so neat! I’ve tried to focus on peace this year and although I set up a Scrabble holder with the letters all cute in my kitchen, somehow the peace keeps being used to spell other things, spilled, and just generally a big mess…kind of ironic, huh?

So maybe a peace one would be right for me? :)

  15. Charity says:

These are beautiful! It would be so hard to choose the word!

  23. Love these, and loved reading other people’s word choices. So many good words! I’ll add faithful to the list since that is the characteristic of God I most often come back to.

  24. christie says:

  41. I hear you on the kids and necklace dilema! My kids are older now and I love to wear long necklaces. It just dresses up a boring shirt. But I do miss little, chubby, hands/ arms wrapped around me.
