Call Out Your Paper Taker

I caught him, and I’m calling him out!  Our resident Paper Taker happens to be a precocious 10-month-old.  Like a bloodhound sniffing a scent, he’s a magnet for the open bathroom door.

So proud.  Good thing he’s cute!  (And good thing I caught him with the paper this time, and not wrist-deep in water.  Ewwww!)

Does your household harbor a paper taker?  You know the ones.  They might leave 2 squares of TP for the next person just so they don’t have to change the roll.  As if!  Or perhaps they manage to scrounge up a full roll, only to leave it propped sideways on top of the empty one.  Or, as is my case, your Paper Taker may have the audacity to leave a full roll of toilet paper strung out in heaps on the floor before you realize that it’s just a little too quiet and the baby is not down for a nap.  Ahem.

While the humor of it all was completely lost on my own 10-month-old Paper Taker, White Cloud invites you to customize a fun video on facebook and send it to the Paper Taker in your family.  The sassy, snappy Wendy from White Cloud will give your resident delinquent the what for!  Once you customize the video, you can send it to a friend Paper Taker via facebook, twitter, or email.  (It took me all of 25 seconds to customize the video, and Wendy really is too funny!)

*** Join @WhiteCloudMom for a White Cloud Twitter Party today (Wednesday, July 20) at 1:00 pm, CST with the hashtag #PaperTakers.  7 different $25 WalMart gift cards will be up for grabs for random participants.  New to Twitter?  Details here:  How to attend a twitter party.

Were your babies as fascinated with TP as mine?  What’s the funniest (or most maddening?!) thing your children have done in the bathroom?

Disclosure:  I am a White Cloud Mom, and as such, am compensated for my time on this post.  All opinions and super-cute 10 month old paper takers are my very own.

Goose dunked her precious nappies in the potty and the wiped down the vanity with them. While wearing her Easter dress, ten minutes before Mass.

Well, he REALLY is cute. I will have to check out the video in a bit.

Will you do me a favor and Please Pray for my niece, Sarah

My paper taker is my cat. She sneaks into the bathroom when I’m not looking, pulls a bunch of the roll, and pounces in it. Very cute, but very annoying.

She has shredded 4 complete rolls to date. But how do you train a cat not to play…

Hmm, the middle boy stuck the unrolled end of the toliet paper into the candle was was lite on bathroom vanity, ever seen a roll of Toliet paper go up in flames? Lets just say it burns really really fast and leaves lovely floating ashes! ;)

this is about my nephew but i think it’s hilarious (only because i was not there!)…i forget how old he was at the time – 1 maybe? – but my brother forgot to lock the toilet lock, so my nephew decided the toilet was a substitute for a bath. my sister-in-law found him splashing water all over the bathroom! and i also have to mention that my dear brother forgot to flush the toilet that morning. yuck.

Naughty or not, he sure is cute!

Perfect timing! Yesterday I caught my 2 year old running to the living room with about 15 feet of TP trailing behind him, still stuck to the roll. I disconnected it, let him rip it awhile, then asked him to pick up all the pieces for me. My 4 year old took this moment to spring into action. He collected it all and raced to the toilet, threw it it in, and flushed, with me shrieking “wait, no, don’t flush!” SO we had a huge clog. Gross!
