Brownie Fruit Pizza Squares

Ah, yes.  Summery fruit, rich brownie crust.  Topped with pretty chocolate drizzle.  Don’t tell anyone how easy it is!

***  Because of the bananas, this is best eaten the day it’s made.  If you want to work ahead, feel free to make the brownies and spread the cream cheese over the top.  Then just refrigerate until assembling the fruit.

***  Feel free to use your favorite brownie recipe, but I think the fudgy version works better than cake-like brownies.

*** I often grab the pineapple chunks and simply cut them in half.  They’re easier to find than the tidbits.  Also, I use just over half of the can.)

*** You’ll likely not need a full 1/4 cup of melted chocolate chips to drizzle over the top.  My advice is to take the left over pineapple, dip it in the leftover chocolate, and enjoy.  ;)

*** Not a chocolate fan?  Try a sugar cookie dough Fruit Pizza.

  1. Hi Amy,

I wanted to let you know that I highlighted your blog on a blog meme I host “Pay It Forward”. I hope you can stop by and check it out. You can read all about how you helped me with an overabundance of zucchini. I baked 4 loaves of zucchini bread and the black bean zucchini quesadillas. I still have more zucchini. I guess I’ll have to go back to the recipe list … again!

  2. What a great combination of fruit and chocolate! Such a fun way to celebrate summer fruit.

  3. YUMMY! I would totally eat this if it wasn’t for my wheat allergy. However, I love fresh fruit and homemade chocolate sauce…..it doesn’t get any better!

  4. It is so hard to see recipes like this when I am hungry. Yum!
