This tasty recipe is courtesy of use what you have night. Making use of odds and ends in the fridge and pantry is a fun way to practice frugality in the kitchen… especially when the results turn out great!
Bacon and Spinach Alfredo
- 5 strips bacon, diced
- 3 cups fresh spinach
- 2 cups alfredo sauce (I used leftover easy, creamy alfredo sauce)
- cooked pasta
Fry bacon in a large skillet. Saute spinach in bacon grease.
Drain off extra grease. Add alfredo sauce. Mix together; warm slowly. Serve over cooked pasta… preferably with cheese-stuffed garlic breadsticks (recipe coming soon).

This is my kind of cooking and I am so glad you posted it. Showing others that they can make dinner with “what they have” is so key.
