There are times when this whole frugal thing really starts to get to me. I begin to wonder what it would be like to have a new vehicle, or a finished basement… or cable. I get frustrated with the time it takes to match coupons with sales. I get a little chilly in my 66° living room.
And then I see something like this.

After the guilt subsides, I go about my frugal ways with a renewed spirit, knowing that I am cared for, well fed and I have everything I need. I live in such abundance.
Go here for more Frugal Friday.

We definitely do live in abundance. HOw easily to take it for granted of all that God has provided!
A beautiful reminder… we are so very blessed. It can be so easy to get frustrated and feel down… but, at the end of the day, I know we have everything we need and then some.
As bad as the ecomony is,sometimes we have to remember, we are living in the most abundant country ever!
Amen! Awesome post. We all need to hear this all the time. Thanks so much.
I soooo agree with you. I start to feel down or discouraged at our strict budgeting and then I think of the families living in mud shacks with no water and one set of clothes… if they’re LUCKY.
Suddenly I feel grossly over-indulgent.
Nothing like a little proper perspective on all God has blessed me with.
Great post! Thanks
Oh, what a great reminder. We have our home at 67 and it has been a little chilly the past few days. This was a great reminder that we are blessed beyond belief. I’ll put on another sweater
