Welcome to our home! We keep things pretty simple around here, but I do have a few Christmas decorations that I’d like to show off. Come on in!
We don’t have a fireplace, so when I saw this stocking holder in a catalog a couple years ago, I needed it. It was cute and cheap. I called it a Christmas gift to self. See it leaning? You get what you pay for. Cute… and cheap.
Several of my cutsie collectibles, many from former students, are on the shelves of our entertainment center. I try to keep the more breakable items up high. See the single nativity globe? Ah, my favorite Christmas decoration, a wedding gift from a dear aunt and uncle.
“Wow!” is what my toddler whispers every morning when she sees our tree. Christmas through the eyes of children… definitely a Finer Thing.
If my home ever burns to the ground, I hope to save my family, my photos, and my Christmas ornaments. My grandma has made all of her grandchildren an ornament since I was three years old. She now makes 34 ornaments each year! I have 31 ornaments from that dear woman; it’s the gift I look forward to most each Christmas. Here is one of my favorites.
Before you go, please enjoy a cup of Cranberry Citrus Drink. I made it for our Bloggy Progressive Dinner. You can find more tasty drinks at Joy’s blog and sign up for her giveaway. Join us for 5 days of food, fun, and giveaways at 5 different blogs!

I miss the days of having to put the breakable stuff up away from the kids and dog! I am in charge of the drink for our ladies get together at church and am getting some great recipes.
