The days are long, but the years are short! We enjoyed a glorious Christmas Day at home this year with a yummy brunch, dinner leftovers, many “You sunk my Battleship!” battles, and NO vomit (as opposed to last year’s Christmas Day pukefest). Success!
We’re looking forward to 2014 and the gifts it will bring, including a second toilet in our soon-to-be-finished basement. I’ve never been so excited about a toilet in my life!
It’s become a Finer Things tradition to share a time capsule printable for you and your kiddos to enjoy. Here’s one for 2013!
Family Time Capsule
Creating a Family Time Capsule is not only a fun, no-cost project for a special day, but it doubles as an exciting surprise when opened a year later. Click here for ideas on what to include in a time capsule.
My New Year’s Gift to You!
Thank you, dear reader, for hanging with me day in and day out. Blogging certainly has taken a backseat to life this year, and I appreciate you hanging in there with my inconsistencies! Thanks for trying my recipes, discussing the tough questions, giving thanks for the simple, and celebrating the Finer Things! You’ve made 2013 a fabulous one, and I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings.
Here’s to a fabulous 2014!
A big thanks to New Season Design for turning my idea into a fun printable!
